Zohar

Zohar camkpers and staff summer 2008

Now in its fifth year, the Zohar (brightness: things are not always as they seem) camping program is designed to meet the social and religious needs of developmentally challenged Jewish adolescents. Zohar fully integrates these youth into camp life; they participate in all camp-wide programs and daily events with the support and supervision of specially trained staff.

Zohar campers are children with developmental disabilities, high functioning spectrum disorders, and neurological and learning challenges.  The Zohar camper-to-bunk staff ratio is 2 to 1.
